Opening Reception 7:30pm August 31 - All are Welcome!

Marc Lacaille, Democracy, 2000, acrylic on canvas

Topophilia: In Forming our Place invites you to participate in Prince George ?s Downtown Revitalization Project. Works from the Two Rivers Gallery permanent collection that raise themes related to the development of our city have been selected.

After viewing the exhibition you can then communicate your interests to Prince George city planners through the suggestion box placed within the gallery space. This exhibition proposes that urban planners adopt an artistic process in their work: developing critical awareness of spaces within the city, suggesting how they affect our lives, and thereafter shaping space. Accordingly, join the Two Rivers Gallery and exercise your freedom to be an artist in forming your city.
